I'm Sergio. I build web software and write things down here so I stop re-solving them.
Latent Build noun / philosophy
- A software deployment containing architectural anomalies or edge-case bugs that could not be discovered by standard automated testing, local compilation, or code reviews.
- The act of shipping functional code with the implicit understanding that perfection is an illusion; a belief that the truest insights and greatest engineering growth happen when hidden flaws are uncovered in the wild.
I'm a software engineer with 9+ years of experience, currently building out the AI lawn intelligence layer for Sunday. Outside of that I'm usually tinkering with AI tooling — building agents, breaking them, and seeing what actually holds up. I also love reverse engineering things, taking them apart to understand how they really work under the hood. Professional googler and external processor — I figure things out by looking them up and talking them through. When I'm not at a keyboard I'm outside on a mountain bike, hanging out with friends and my dog, or DJing.
